Screening of Albatross

Glasgow Over Plastic will be screening Albatross!

Glasgow Over Plastic will be screening Albatross – a moving film about the life of an albatross colony on the world’s most remote island – and how ocean plastic is challenging their fundamental existence as a species. After the film, we hope to have a discussion around how we, as individuals, can begin to tackle the plastic crisis. For more information on the film: albatrossthefilm.com. Prior to the Screening, representatives from Glasgow Over Plastic, Keep Scotland Beautiful and Marine Conservation Society will talk about the issue of the global plastic problem and outline some solutions that are happening locally in Glasgow that you can get involved in. About Glasgow Over Plastic: We are a youth-led movement which aims to inspire a plastic free revolution through creating engaging educational resources and campaigns in partnership with local individuals, communities, businesses and politicians and make Glasgow the first plastic free city.
